About
From a young age, my passion for science and sports evolved into a fascination with the potential of technology to revolutionize human performance and, more importantly, human health. Currently, I am a NIH T32 Postdoctoral research fellow at Caltech. I work on developing wearable and ingestible sensor devices for precision medicine.
I was born in South Korea and raised internationally in South Korea (1996~2002, 2007~2009), South Africa (2002~2007), Russia (2009~2012), Sudan (2012~2014). Afterwards, I moved to the U.S. (2014~) to pursue my B.S. in Electrical Engineering at UIUC. I recently attained my Ph.D. in Medial Engineering at Caltech.
During my free time, I enjoy playing a wide range of sports such as soccer, basketball, tennis and golf. I am always excited to learn new things, whether it is a sport, a theory, or a skill.
